The Painted Turtle works closely with a remarkable group of Voluntary Health Organizations who serve the needs of children and families affected by our primary medical conditions throughout California. These Partners provide our organization with expertise, staffing, camper referrals and funding. In a unique collaboration, they provide assistance with the following:

  • Recruitment of campers and families for summer session and family retreats
  • Recruitment of cabin and program volunteers for summer session and family retreats

  • Participation of their key camp staff in the planning and execution of camp programs
