Through educational and recreational summer camp and year-round programs, The Painted Turtle provides a life-changing experience to children whose daily struggles due to serious illness often diminish both their desire to be well and their ability to lead a rich, productive life. Thousands of children in California suffering from chronic life–threatening conditions have never had the opportunity to attend camp until now. The Painted Turtle is dedicated to helping these children discover a new world of experiences in a safe and supportive environment and at absolutely no charge to campers and their families.
