The cost of funds raised based on Charity Navigator’s Fundraising Efficiency calculation was 17 cents on the dollar, exceeding the standards established by organizations that monitor the work of charities.

Support of $3.63 million funded fiscal year 2021 operations. An additional $3.26M was received from capital campaign contributions. Gifts from individuals comprised 41 percent of operating contributions while corporate and foundation gifts amounted to 17 percent and 23 percent, respectively. Health Partner donations contributed 2 percent, special event donations contributed 12 percent while Associations, Civic Orgs and 3rd Parties contributed the remaining 5 percent.

Fiscal year 2021 expenses totaled $3.59 million. Expenses for Camp programs represented 76 percent of total expenses. Included in these expenses, Camp activities, including both the Summer Sessions and Spring and Fall Family Weekends and day programming, amounted to 92 percent while the Hospital Outreach Program comprised 8 percent. Development costs represented 17 percent of total expenses, and general and administrative costs accounted for the remaining 7 percent of expenses.
