Leadership Program

The Leadership Program is open to 17 and 18 year-old campers seeking to enrich their camp experience through a variety of leadership training activities.  

Leadership participants immerse themselves in a week of community, education, recreation, and growth. Participants join us for a week-long summer session, and live in the cabin with their peers and Leadership Counselors. Leadership participants take part in a variety of workshops and activities to learn different leadership skills including: communication, decision making, conflict resolution, public speaking, and role modeling.

How to Apply

You must be a previous camper in good standing with The Painted Turtle or a member of the medical community we serve

• You must be 17 or 18 years old by the session for which you are applying
• We anticipate we will have more applicants than spaces available and encourage all interested applicants to apply as soon as possible.
