The Painted Turtle 2nd Annual Pickleball Tournament
Another Smashing Success!


The Painted Turtle’s 2nd Annual Pickleball Tournament was another smashing success! 

Held at The Griffin Club Los Angeles on Sunday, October 22nd, forty-one players gathered to raise funds for The Painted Turtle, ensuring that Camp experiences always remain free of charge for campers and their families.  

Pickleball players ranging from beginner to advanced competed for ten prize winning spots with some incredible prizes!

Former camper, now Painted Turtle Assistant Camp Director, Katie Griffith kicked off the event by sharing her story about the first time she went to The Painted Turtle. 

Guests enjoyed food and beverages throughout the event and took home a gift bag brimming with goodies from Mosh Bars, Jigsaw pickleball cocktails, Newman’s Own Products, hats from the House of Pickleball, balls from the Santa Monica Pickleball Center, and a few Painted Turtle swag! 

Top prizes included an exclusive Dodgers Experience, 818 Tequila gift box, Wine Baskets, Short Court Courtside Collections bundles, and a Supreme Skateboard package that included gift certificates for clinics at the Santa Monica Pickleball Center! Each winner also received an incredible paddle from Recess or Selkirk, and pickleball balls from the Santa Monica Pickleball Center.

The event concluded with the announcement of all the big winners. Congratulations!
