The Painted Turtle 3rd Annual Pickleball Tournament
Griffin Club, Los Angeles, CA
Thirty-two players took to the courts at the historic Griffin Club Los Angeles on Sunday, May 5th, to raise funds ensuring that Painted Turtle Camp experiences will always be free of charge! Advanced and Intermediate Pickleball players competed for ten winning spots with some incredible prizes!

Thank you for joining the 24th annual Bruin Run/Walk that benefited The Painted Turtle. Participants had a blast at the 5k with music, snacks, performers, games, and crafts at the finish line. Bingo at The Roxy at The Rainbow
Heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined us for Bingo at The Roxy at The Rainbow! This year, we ventured over to the Rainbow Bar and Grill, creating a vibrant and memorable experience. Guests indulged in a colorful and campy dinner outdoors, setting the stage for an evening filled with laughter, fun, and incredible prizes. The festivities began with founder Page Adler, followed by sentiments of gratitude from Assistant Camp Director Katie Griffith, a former camper whose connection with The Painted Turtle spans years.

Another Smashing Success!
The Painted Turtle’s 2nd Annual Pickleball Tournament was another smashing success!
Held at The Griffin Club Los Angeles on Sunday, October 22nd, forty-one players gathered to raise funds for The Painted Turtle, ensuring that Camp experiences always remain free of charge for campers and their families.
Pickleball players ranging from beginner to advanced competed for ten prize winning spots with some incredible prizes!
Topgolf “Fore” Camp
A special thank you to The Painted Turtle Ambassadors and Young Executive Professionals “fore” an awesome evening of Topgolf with 60 generous and enthusiastic guests helping to raise vital funds for The Painted Turtle and sending campers to Camp this summer. The Painted Turtle Pickleball Tournament
A Smashing Success!
The Painted Turtle’s first Pickleball Tournament was a smashing success!
Held at The Riviera Country Club in the Pacific Palisades on Sunday, October 2nd, 50 players gathered to raise funds for The Painted Turtle, ensuring that Camp experiences always remain free of charge for campers and their families.
Bingo at the Roxy’s Sweet 16
Our 16th Bingo at the Roxy was certainly sweet! Made possible by The Rainbow Bar and Grill, AEG, and Goldenvoice, this memorable night featured celebrity callers, exciting rounds of bingo, and incredible prizes.
Founder, Page Adler, kicked off the evening. We were lucky to have Greg Dunkel, who is a longtime medical volunteer, share a few words about his experience at The Painted Turtle.
UCLA Bruin Run/Walk

It was a glorious day at the Harvest Moon gathering held at Camp this past Saturday. The event benefited both The Painted Turtle and The Bridge School with inspiring performances by Neil Young, Norah Jones, Father John Misty and Masanga Marimba Ensemble, as well as a special campfire performance by Lisa Loeb. Music, eats and drinks were enjoyed by all! Enjoy Neil Young’s reflection of the day.

Imagine Virtual 5k

donations. And 1 cause: to bring The Painted Turtle family
together and raise funds in order to deliver the magic of Camp to
children living with serious medical conditions, directly to
their homes!

Tour de Turtle & Turtle Trek
Saturday, April 27, 2019
Thank you to the 200 people who participated in the 8th Annual Tour de Turtle and 3rd Annual Turtle Trek. The Tour de Turtle cyclists rode one of three fully supported routes (20 miles, 30 miles, or 60 miles) through Elizabeth Lake, Spunky Canyon, and Bouquet Canyon. While this was going on, our Turtle Trekkers walked, ran, or rolled around Camp enjoying games and dancing at various stations. Afterward, families and friends enjoyed a delicious lunch, live music, and games on the lawn.
Skechers Performance LA Marathon & Charity Challenge

TEAM TURTLE rocked the 2019 Skechers Performance LA Marathon and Charity Challenge and raised vital funds to send even more children to camp this summer! Great big thank yous to all our Team Turtle participants. Yes! Yes! Yes!
Bingo at The Roxy
Bingo!! Celebrating it’s 15th year, The Painted Turtle’s annual Bingo at The Roxy proved to be a smashing success! Jay Leno, Lisa Kudrow, Debbie Allen, Kenny Ortega and many other celebrity guests called numbers for prizes ranging from his and hers mountain bikes to VIP tickets to Coachella to fabulous vacations at the Four Seasons in Maui!! All proceeds raised from the event directly benefit The Painted Turtle, sending even more children and families to camp!
Hoedown BBQ

The North Los Angeles Regional Advisory Board produced another amazing evening as they hosted the 13th annual Hoedown BBQ on Saturday, October 27, 2018 to raise funds to send more children to Camp! This country-style event included delicious food with all the fixin’s from Rattlers, foot tappin’ live entertainment from the Hit Machine, beer and wine, exclusive camp tours, and amazing silent and live auctions with prizes ranging from adventurous trips, fine jewelry, home packages, autographed sports memorabilia, and more! An inspirational speech from a Painted Turtle camper topped off the evening and reminded guests what the evening was truly all about. Special thanks to the NLACRAB for all their hard work and to all our incredible event sponsors. The event would not have been possible without your generosity and support.
